The Best Tips On How To Get Rid OF A Headache While Pregnant

It has been about two years since I was pregnant and I just remember two things about the pregnancy. One I had to urinate constantly and two I always had a headache. When you are dealing with pregnancy the last thing that you want to deal with is a headache. Pregnancy on its own is a chore but when you have something like that to deal with as well it sucks. On top of that there are not many ways to learn how to get rid of a headache while pregnant. You are not supposed to use a certain list of medications. You have to stay away from most meds because your child might develop some sort of problem from the use. After my first encounter with a headache I decided that I was going to do an online search. This search consisted of homeopathic medicine, I wanted to go all natural with my pregnancy and wanted it to be legit. To my surprise this was actually a very popular subject on the internet and lots of young mothers were dealing with the same problem. I visited a forum where I asked the mothers what they did for their headaches. They gave me a few ideas and I tried them out for myself.

The first thing that I ended up trying was lavender oil. Somebody told me that if you rub it on your temples it will relieve a headache almost instantly. I am open to trying new things so I got my hands on some lavender oil and tried it out. It worked okay but did not really work as well as I would have wanted it to. However I did notice it helped take the edge off. So I kept some in my home just in case I ever had a really bad headache. After I tried that out I decided to give some other remedies a shot. One mom told me to chug down two warm glasses of water. The warm water is supposed to help calm you down and relax your muscles. The fact that it is water is also supposed to hydrate you and get rid of the problem. I noticed that this worked pretty well and every time I started to feel one coming on I would drink a few glasses of warm water!

The last thing that I experimented with was meditation. Now me personally I have never tried meditation in my life before. I always thought it would be too difficult for me to do because I am so hyper. Turns out that anybody can learn how to meditate and it also turns out that it does wonders for headaches and stress. This is why I would recommend giving it a try if you have the chance.

So what is the moral to this? If you want to learn how to get rid of a headache while pregnant you need to try these three things. Drink plenty of warm water, try lavender oil and of course try learning how to meditate. With all of these things combined you can consider your headache a thing of the past.

My Favorite Pregnancy Quotes

“A mother does not become pregnant in order to provide employment to medical people. Giving birth is an ecstatic jubilant adventure not available to males. It is a woman’s crowning creative experience of a lifetime.”

John Stevenson

“To be pregnant is to be vitally alive, thoroughly woman, and distressingly inhabited. Soul and spirit are stretched – along with body – making pregnancy a time of transition, growth, and profound beginnings.”

Anne Christian Buchanan

“Pregnant women! They had that weird frisson, an aura of magic that combined awkwardly with an earthy sense of duty. Mundane, because they were nothing unique on the suburban streets; ethereal because their attention was ever somewhere else. Whatever you said was trivial. And they had that preciousness which they imposed wherever they went, compelling attention, constantly reminding you that they carried the future inside, its contours already drawn, but veiled, private, an inner secret.”

How To Take Care Of Your Baby While Pregnant

Being pregnant is tough, its difficult to know what to do and what not to do when you have a baby inside you. Of course maybe you are already talking to a doctor as to what you need to keep up on. I can however give you some of the tips that a lot of these so called doctors will not give you. Having two children and as much experience as I do you learn a few things along the way.

1.Get lots of sleep

You will notice that sleeping does not come as an easy thing to do when you are pregnant. The baby kicks, moves around and just plain sucks when you are trying to sleep. There is a little tip that I like to share with you when it comes to sleeping. Find yourself a little bit of lavender oil. This will calm the baby down and give you a more relaxing and easy sleep. Just rub a little bit on your stomach and it will calm the baby down and nore more kicking!

2. Drink Plenty Of Juice

Just has many different vitamins in it and the babies love them. Juice is also just amazing and tastes so good. I would recommend lots of orange juice, cranberry juice and cherry juice. The more the  better! If you drink grape juice more you will also have an easier time going to the bathroom!

3. No Over The Counter Medications

I would never in a million years suggest that you use any type of over the counter medicine. If you want to go all natural this is the best way. if you get a headache while pregnant or anything. Avoid taking any of the medications that you find at stores. You will really regret it later when your  baby is born with a deformity.

4. Be Careful

Of course this is a given but I wanted to make sure I was clear about this. You will need to make sure that you are always careful when it comes to having a baby in you. This means no intense exercise, not falling down and no drinking alcohol or anything like that. Think of your stomach as gold.
